I've really enjoyed my experience at the Happy Academy, and I feel that their outstanding teachers, extracurriculars, and resources have been incredibly important.
Ms. Smith
Hands down a top-five school in the country. I went there for high school and felt that even in the Bay Area, no other school matches the peer group and opportunities available at Happy Academy. The students there are some of the smartest in the nation (my year our average SAT score was 1490) and are all incredibly driven. Unlike other schools of its caliber like Basis, however, Happy Academy never felt like a pressure cooker and students were genuinely invested in each other’s success. If you’re an incredibly intelligent student looking for a school to challenge and push you to become a better version of yourself, there’s no place better than Happy Academy.

Great school, great STEM program, great facilities, and a lot of choices of courses, and very innovative programs!
Mr. Nische
The Happy Academy School was a fantastic experience for me, and it really helped prepare me for college at Stanford. The student community was vibrant, and the teaching staff was high-touch and supportive. In addition, we had a robust athletics and performing arts program, which allowed me to explore diverse interests.
Not to mention, the advanced STEM courses are the best in the Bay Area, based on my conversations with other alums in the area.

My daughter started to attend The Happy Academy from 9th grade. She always enjoyed learning at Harker. I strongly recommend this school

My daughter has been attending Happy Academy for the last 18 months. Here are just a few of the many reasons we believe it is the best school in the area.
- The teachers are incredibly dedicated. Many of them voluntarily and cheerfully give my child extra help during their lunch breaks and after school. They love to teach and it shows in their preparation of subject matter, and enthusiasm.
- The class sizes are small. My daughter is taking Spanish 3 with one other student. A 2:1 ratio! The average is approximately 10 per class. Students do not sit at individual desks and listen to a lecture given at the front of the class. They sit around a conference table so everyone is fully engaged in the discussions.
- The administration cares about meeting the needs of every student. Because of the school size. It is able to help nurture each person's strengths while addressing their weaknesses.
- Communication from administration and teachers is superb. I cannot recall when my questions or the issues raised went more than a day without a response or resolution. My child's grades, attendance and homework are all accessible online.
