School Policy
Summary
Below are some of the items we advice every student and parent to make note of. More details about these items and the rest can be found in the Student Handbook which is an academic contract to be read and signed by each student and their parent / guardian as condition of admission to Happy Academy.
Makeup Classes:
We understand students may a miss class due to illness or other excused reasons. If and when that happens, a student is offered up to 3 makeup classes per subject. Upon receiving the request from the student or parent, a new session will be arranged to help the student catch up on missed topics or tests. It’s our policy to do a makeup session use review and charge a per-session fee after 3 makeups.
Transcripts:
To cover some of the costs involved in sending official transcripts to each school, it is our policy to charge a nominal fee per transcript delivery. Charges vary based on the method of delivery – physical or electronic.
Credit Recovery:
Additional 20% charge to published tuition per subject.
One on One class:
Additional 50% charge to published tuition price per subject..
Small Class:
Small class sizes, up to 5 students.
Semi-private Classes:
Semi private classes are up to 2 students.
Application fee:
Application fee = $175
Courses Duration:
All courses are duration of 10 months and fee is based on that. If student want to finish it as a summer course we can make arrangement for 1-1 session or group session.
Clubs, Counseling, and College preparation
Clubs, Counseling, and College preparation services are included for students enrolled in a minimum of 3 subjects.
Payment Policy:
Payment Policy: Monthly payments will carry a 10% extra charge, quarterly payments 7.5%, and half yearly 5%.
