Middle School Enrollment Rules
Happy Academy administration establishes the condition for student admission, credit transfer (if applicable), and continuation of student status.
We deliver results by creating an effective learning environment including but not limited to distraction-free sessions. Phones & distracting electronics must be checked in (or powered off and stored away for the full duration of the session).
Students violating the learning environment or causing disturbances will result in loss of privileges during the first month and suspension after the second month.
Students adhering to the learning path established by the administrator, or the counselor is required as per agreement.
Completing the assigned work and turning it in as instructed is essential. This is also required for teachers to measure student ability and progress. Having ability but not progressing as a result of not following instructions can be cause for parent-teacher conferences.
Students’ progress will be communicated to parents each month. Parents’ acknowledgment is implied.
The student’s account must be current (not delinquent) to receive grades/transcripts.
Require 24-hr (1-day) notice to reschedule and be eligible for a makeup session.
Three make-up classes are offered for free during the course duration for courtesy based on any unforeseen situations. After three makeups, all missed classes will be charged $65 per hour.
Cooperation with staff, respectful behavior with peers, staff, and parents/guardians will make everyone’s day go by smoothly. We expect this to be a foundational rule to help us achieve the results for your student.
Paid fees are not Refundable
The fee is a 10 month commitment. The fees must be paid in full even if the student discontinues the course.
A non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee of $30.00 will be charged for each transfer that is returned.
All families are expected to keep their accounts current.
Written withdrawal notice for your child(ren) is required at least 60 days before the effective day.
Tuition is due in full regardless of student vacation or illness.
